Tap Settings on the Home Screen (or in App Library). Swipe down to reveal the search field, tap the search field, enter a term—“volume,” for example—then tap a setting.

Your Home Screen offers the most straightforward way of opening the app: just tap the iPhone Settings icon. Swipe left or right to look for it through the Home Screen pages on your iPhone. As you can see below, Apple chose a gray gear for the Settings icon on the iPhone. Tapping the icon opens the iPhone Settings.

Locate the Settings icon on your home screen or in the App Library. The Settings icon looks like a gear and is usually found on your home screen.
