Apr 24, 2018 · Great Review! I bought a new Grasshopper 725 DT in 2014, and I love it. I put the hopper collection system on it and I really like that. I can mow and dump without getting out of the seat! Everything about the Grasshopper speaks to a really well thought out design, and it just works extremely well. Enjoy that new machine!

Feb 4, 2003 · Grasshopper filters are engineered to filter down to 5 micron, so any particle larger than 5 millionths of an inch is trapped. As long as you change the filter as recommended, the chance of "wet sanding" all the parts is slim. Anything below the 5 micron will polish the parts. Drives take a lot of abuse, and they will have issues.

Mar 2, 2020 · All were great machines and offered a good ride for the operator without all the suspension "Gimmicks". You can easily get 20 years of life out of a Grasshopper if you do the basic recommended maint. I liked them so well that I sold my lawn business and opened a Grasshopper dealership. Retired now, but still love those Grasshoppers.

Jun 12, 2004 · We have a Kubota ZD21 (21hp diesel, 60" deck) and a Grasshopper 614 (14hp B&S Vangaurd, 48" deck) and 725K (25hp Kohler, 60" deck) . The Grasshopper 725K is by far my favorite one to operate.
