    • Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA): designed for emergency use to facilitate a safe exit from suddenly hazardous environments.
    • Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA): used out of water, worn by rescue workers, firefighters and others in contaminated, toxic or hypoxic atmospheres.
    • Airline Breathing Apparatus (Airline BA): used in environments where the air is not immediately dangerous to life or health, but where a higher level of respiratory protection is required.
