  1. To perform a bear plank leg lift, you need to12:
    • Start in a low plank position, with your elbows directly beneath your shoulders and your body in a straight line from head to heels.
    • Engage your core muscles and lift your right leg off the ground, keeping your hips level.
    • Hold for a count of two, then lower your leg back to the starting position.
    • Repeat with the left leg.
    • Brace (engage) your core while lifting your knees two inches off the ground, holding the bear plank position.
    • Extend your right leg straight behind you, ensuring it's parallel to the ground.
    • Then bring it back in, coming back to the bear plank position.
    • Repeat with your left leg.
