May 11, 2022 · If someone hacks your account, changes your recovery email/information - Yahoo will not be able to recover. Someone who hacks an account can easily change all of this information. And we know how susceptible Yahoo is to this. Yahoo "Premium Support" told me it was escalated - but they still couldn't do anything unless I verified my email.

May 31, 2022 · I’m pretty sure Yahoo will never charge you to unlock your password under any circumstances. I know they charge $4.99 for premium services but nothing to unlock a forgotten password. I don’t mean to insult your intelligence but are you sure you weren’t hacked and aren’t actually talking to someone posing as yahoo?

Apr 30, 2022 · When the dreaded lockout happened last week, I realized what a grave mistake I had made by doing that, as I was also locked out of my yahoo. A call to customer service early in the morning got me an overseas rep, who basically acknowledged the problem and said there was nothing she could do and they were working on it.

I never remember the password so i basically reset any time i use log in. I get the code sent to my gmail account. You have to enter the code to get access and you need the code to get access to yahoo email.

The reason the Yahoo Games shutdown is significant is because it was a service that made Yahoo seem like a cool place to play games and chat with friends. Lastly, they shut down Yahoo Answers in 2021 and gave the reason saying they are "moving forward to make more innovative products" which is TOTAL bs.

Nov 3, 2022 · My guess is Yahoo's owners have simply quit investing in the platform. AOL pages, owned by the same company perform just as dismally. AOL and Yahoo were owned by Verizon, but the slowness seems to coincide with the sale to a new ownership group that simply doesn't want to invest in dying platforms.

Whenever I open a new Chrome window or tab, in both a regular window and incognito window, instead of binging me to the google search page, it brings me directly to the yahoo search page. Whenever I go to do a search it always defaults to Yahoo. Ive gone through all my settings.
