Nov 4, 2021 · They should be played in chronological release order: Shantae > Risky's Revenge > Pirate's Curse > Half Genie Hero > Seven Sirens. However, aside from Risky's Revenge immediately preceding Pirate's Curse, even while contributing to the original trilogy, most all function as self-contained stories. Really, it matters just on how you can play them.

Shantae, the original, is still the best Shantae game to me. It was so expansive and challenging, I enjoyed the heck out of it. Closely followed by Pirate's Curse. It's a brilliant game that truly shows the creativity of the team. Half-Genie Hero next. It's a solid title and I had a lot of fun with it. Probably the quintessential modern Shantae ...

Apr 21, 2024 · making everything seem evil part 1 since in the end she got impregnated, if she doesn't escape soon the baby bump will either force its way to fit in the bricks, killing her. or the wall will squeeze into her stomach killing the child AND her, either way they pretty much doomed her unless someone helps her out

Bought OG Shantae once on VC, Risky’s Revenge once on DSiware (seriously, put that on Nintendo eShop Wayforward), Pirate’s Curse 3 times (eShop, physical 3DS, physical Switch), Half Genie Hero 3 times (Kickstarter with the shirt tier, physical Wii U, physical Switch), and Seven Sirens twice (physical Switch, eShop to avoid spoilers).

Jan 14, 2023 · After I finished the Rule Breaker run, I started a Definitive game, & found that it felt easy in comparison which confused me, as it sounded like this was supposed to be the challenging one. Full disclosure: I may have picked Shantae's normal costume, but I cannot remember, as it was late that night. Which brings me to the reason for posting.

Jan 1, 2021 · Besides smash and mutant mudds i guess, Shantae hasn't made it as a guest character. She was supposed to be a playable character in indivisible, but that fell through due to gross incompetence. Risky Boots was also meant to be in Hyper light drifter as a quest npc but that also fell through, again due to gross incompetence.

Sep 14, 2023 · Look at Shantae GBC, it’s an old GBC game that has released on the switch, but NOT on NSO. MVG developed and emulator to play the game on the switch, and this eventually became the Carbon Engine that LRG uses to emulate older games with modern bells and whistles. On LRG’s website, they specifically note that GBA is supported.
