Raspberry Pi 3 vs Pi 2 power consumption and heat dissipation
Feb 29, 2016 · 2.5 Amps is just a very high, safe figure -- it assumes the pi itself may use up to 1 Amp (which obviously it doesn't, if goobering's charts are correct) and the USB could use up to 1.2 Amps. However, considering what's on the market you might as well get a 2.5 Amp supply.

Feb 27, 2016 · The B+ had a single core Broadcom BCM2835 Arm 6, with 512MB of RAM. the Raspberry Pi 2 (is newer) has a quad core BCM2836 Arm 7, with 1GB of RAM. Micro SD card slot on Pi 2 - Raspberry Pi Stack Exchange
Apr 12, 2016 · I've just received a Raspberry Pi 2 and tried to insert the micro SD card, but for some reason the mechanism doesn't appear to be working correctly. You hear a click and can observe the card pushing fully into the slot. However, the card simply springs out and can be pulled free without having to push the card in again.
arm - Installing docker on a Pi zero W (or a pi zero2) - Raspberry …
Nov 26, 2021 · I do not recommend using Docker on Pi Zero. There are not much docker images available for ARMv6. To save you from trouble you should use Pi 2 or newer or Pi Zero 2. Also you should consider the limited memory amount of Pi Zero 2. All full-size Pis have at least 1GB. Otherwise follow the installation instructions on the official docker page:

networking - How to add multiple RJ45 ports to Raspberry Pi 4 to …
Feb 28, 2020 · FWIW, if you have a Pi CM4 with the IO board (as opposed to a regular Pi 4), you could add a PCI Ethernet NIC (with multiple ports), by using the on-board PCI-E slot, to make a multi-homed device. The official IO board already has an on-board gigabit Ethernet port, so by simply adding a dual NIC PCI card, you would then have the three Ethernet ...
