Common tests & procedures

Glasgow coma scale: Glasgow coma scale to assess the level of consciousness.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): MRI of the brain is performed to get a detailed view of the brain.

CT scan: To detect pathology of blood vessels when a penetrating head trauma is involved.

Angiogram: To uncover fractures, clotting, bleeding and bruised tissues.
