Nov 11, 2010 · When our last Boxer started excess salivating, it was an indication that we needed to watch for possible bloat. Other health issues led to excess gas buildup in his intestines. Jan 19, 2009 · My boxer is laid back when it comes to food, my american bulldog will never turn down a chance for food. I just do the eye test, if they look to be a good weight then no need to change food amounts. I just think some dogs can not turn off that natural survival instinct to always look for the opportunity for food.
