    How do I get to Allington Castle?You go on the boat from their mooring in Maidstone, and travel to Allington Castles private mooring. From there we had a private tour of the castle and grounds by two of the staff lasting about 1.5 hours. The tour was informative and interesting. The castle itself is absolutely beautiful, and has in part been renovated by the current owner.
