Determine how much wrapping paper you need. Roll out some of your wrapping paper on a flat surface and place the oddly shaped item that you want to wrap on top of it. Make sure you use enough paper to cover the item. Cut your wrapping paper to size. Fold and tape the sides to begin forming your gift bag.

Once you know how much paper you need, fold the wrapping paper in half. Seal with tape and fold the bottom end up. Step 2: Open the bottom end so the inside of the paper is revealed. Fold the left and right edges in, then fold the top and bottom in as well. Use tape to seal all of the folds. Step 3: Flip the bag and open.

Place your gift in the middle of the wrapping paper to measure how much you'll need. Remove the gift from the center, then fold the paper in half, securing it with tape. Fold the top and bottom edges of the wrapping paper, pushing the bottom edge inward to form a triangle shape; secure with tape. Fold inward one more time, then secure with tape.

Start with enough paper to fully wrap your gift with a little extra room. Fold about a half inch over of whichever edge of of the paper will be the top of your bag. This gives it a more finished look. Secure with double sided tape or adhesive. Place you box on the paper and wrap the paper around it like you would any gift.
