Measure and mark the locations where the rivets will be installed. Drill holes with a diameter slightly smaller than the rivet shank. Deburr the hole edges to remove any sharp edges. Inserting the Rivet Insert the rivet shank through the drilled hole, with the head facing the outside. Place a washer or backing plate behind the rivet if necessary.
