Launch Chrome, select the three dots in the top-right corner, and choose "Settings." In "Settings," on the left sidebar, click "Search Engine." Then, on the right pane, choose "Manage Search Engines and Site Search." Scroll down to the "Search Engines" section. Here, next to a non-Bing search engine, click the three dots and choose "Make Default."

If your phone's Chrome browser defaults to using the Bing search engine, you can reset it here as well. 1. Start the Chrome browser app on your phone and tap the three-dot menu. 2. In the pop-up menu, choose Settings. 3. Tap Search Engine and choose a different option, like Google or DuckDuckGo.
