    • Click Open Other Workbooks in the lower-left corner of Excel, then click Browse on the left side of the resulting window. Use the file explorer to find the Excel workbook you’re looking for, select it, and click Open.
    • Use the Excel Find feature by pressing Ctrl + F to open the Find and Replace dialog. In the Find what box, type .xl. In the Within box, select either Workbook to search in all tabs or Sheet to look in the current worksheet only. In the Look in box, choose Formulas. Click the Find All button.
    • Press Ctrl+F, or go to Home > Editing > Find & Select > Find. In the Find dialog box, type the name of the spreadsheet you are looking for.
    • Use the search feature by selecting the appropriate column or row. Navigate to the ‘Find and Replace’ feature by pressing ‘Ctrl+F’ on your keyboard. Type the name of the spreadsheet you are looking for in the search box.
    • Launch the Command Prompt by entering Cmd (or Command Prompt) in the Windows search box. Enter "dir c:" (or whatever drive you want to search) and "dir *.xlsx /s /b >fldrlist.txt".
