To enable Num Lock at startup, set the value data to "2." To disable Num Lock at startup, set the value data to "0." Click "OK" to save the changes. Close the Registry Editor. After making these changes, Windows 11 will enable or disable the Num Lock key at startup according to your configuration.

To set Numlock to be on every time you start the computer, double click InitialKeyboardIndicators, change the value data to 2, and click OK. Repeat this process for the other user entries in your registry (unfortunately, you'll have to do it manually for each one).

Press Windows Key + X then click Command Prompt (Admin). 2. Type the following command in cmd and hit Enter: powercfg -h off 3. Reboot to save changes. This should definitely Enable Num Lock on Startup in Windows 10 but then continue to the next method.

Inside Windows Registry, navigate (from the left pane) and highlight this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelKeyboard 3. At the right pane right-click at “ InitialKeyboardIndicators ” string and select “ Modify ”. 4. Set the value data to “ 2 ” (without quotes) to keep NumLock always ON at system startup and press OK.
