You can automatically forward or redirect your email messages by setting up an Inbox rule in classic Outlook. This is useful if you want to read and respond to messages from another email account or when you want someone else to receive and respond to your email in your absence.

At the top right corner of the message pane, select and then choose Forward. Type your message and then select Send. Automatic forwarding. To set up auto forwarding, select > Mail > Forwarding.

You can have Outlook automatically open all replies and forwards in a new window (not in the Reading pane). Select File > Options . Select Mail , then scroll down to the Replies and forwards section.

Send an email from Outlook. To share a copy of an email (including attachments) to a chat or channel in Teams: While viewing an email in the Outlook desktop app, select Share to Teams located in the toolbar ribbon. In Outlook on the web (and Outlook for Mac), select More actions , and choose Share to Teams.

If a hacker gains access to a user's mailbox, they can auto-forward the user's email to an outside address and steal proprietary information. You can stop this by creating a mail flow rule. Encrypt all messages in Outlook on the web. After you've installed the S/MIME control, select Settings > Mail > S/MIME to configure S/MIME. Select Encrypt contents and attachment for all messages I send to automatically encrypt all outgoing messages. Select Add a digital signature to all messages I send to digitally sign all outgoing messages.

You will first need to create a rule to automatically send a carbon copy (Cc) of all email messages that you send. This particular rule is called a client-side rule. A client-side rule runs only on the computer on which it is created, and only runs if Outlook is running.
