If you prefer another search engine to Bing, you can easily switch your default in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge by visiting your browser's settings. For example, head to Settings > Search engine > Manage search engines and site search to change your default search engine in Chrome.

To modify this behavior and set Google as your preferred search engine for Windows 11 Search: 1. Click on Start button (Windows logo) located at bottom-left corner of your screen. 2. Type “Search Settings” and select it from results. 3. Under “Searching Windows,” choose “Google” from drop-down menu.

To change the default search engine: Launch Chrome. Click the three-dot menu on the top right. Click Settings. Select Search Engine. Select the engine of your choice from the list of search engines in the drop-down menu. If the browser search engine keeps resetting back to Bing despite that, you'll need to remove the adware or malware responsible.

Open Microsoft Edge. Navigate to Google.com (or the search engine website you prefer). Click the Settings and more button in the top-right. Click the Settings option. Click on Advanced. Under the "Address bar search" section, and click the Change search provider button. Select the Google Search option from the list.
