Ethnicity: Sephardi Jewish, Ashkenazi Jewish Eugene Levy is a Canadian actor, comedian, producer, director, musician, and writer. He is known for playing Jim’s dad in the American Pie films, among many other roles. Eugene is the son of Rebecca “Betty” (Kudlats) and Joseph “Joe” Levy, a foreman at an automobile plant.

Levy was born to a Jewish family in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. His mother, Rebecca (née Kudlatz), was a homemaker, and his father, Joseph, was a foreman at an automobile plant. He has a brother, Fred, and sister, Barbara. His mother was born in Glasgow, Scotland, to Polish Jewish parents, later moving to Canada.

Levy is one of three children born to Rebecca Levy (née Kudlats), a homemaker, and Joseph Levy, an automobile-plant foreman. His mother, an Ashkenazi Jew, had moved to Canada from Scotland while a girl, and his father, a Sephardic Jew, was born in Ontario, Canada.
