    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is characterised by a pattern of unnecessary unwanted thoughts and fears (obsessions), that compel the person to do repetitive behaviours (compulsion). Some of the obsessed behaviours are fear of contamination, doubting, having trust issues, preferring things to be in order and symmetry, being aggressive, insecure about oneself and fear of losing control. The compulsive behaviours include cleaning, washing excessively, checking and cross-checking, counting again and again, and following a strict routine. The causes of OCD include issues with the body’s chemistry, and genetic issues, the behaviours can be learnt from someone else.
