Use the "Tools" menu to select the "Forms" option and click once on the "List Box Tool." The cursor will change to a plus sign. Click once on the area of the document to which you want to add the drop down list and drag to the appropriate size while holding down the mouse button.

Open the Adobe Acrobat "Tools" menu, locate its "Forms" submenu and choose "Edit." Adobe Acrobat places your file in Edit mode and opens the Forms task pane so you can choose editing commands. 2. Click on the "Tasks" section of the task pane and choose "Add New Field." Select the Dropdown tool.

To add a dropdown in Acrobat Pro DC to a form, open the form in Acrobat. Select the “Prepare Form” tool in the Tools Center or the Tools pane. If the open document is not yet converted into a fillable form, Acrobat then prompts you to convert it.

The Form Field Creation Tool window will appear letting you select the form field type. Choose Dropdown from the list and click on Select. Move your mouse cursor anywhere on your document and left-click to place the box. The Dropdown option will remain active until you click it again. This lets you place multiple fields at once.
