  1. To set your search provider in Google Chrome, you can follow these steps12345:
    1. Click the down arrow in the search box in the top right corner of your browser.
    2. Click Find More Providers.
    3. Click Google.
    4. Check the box next to "Make this my default search provider."
    5. Click Manage Search Providers.
    6. Highlight the search engine you want to make default.
    7. Click Set as default.
    8. To add more search-provider options, click Find more search providers… in the bottom left corner and follow the steps listed.
