In Chrome, click the three-dot menu at the top right of the window, then click Settings. The Chrome settings page will open in a new browser tab, preserving whatever page you were already on. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings and press Enter. The current webpage will redirect to your Chrome settings page.

Open up System settings by pressing Windows key+I, and then click on "Apps." From the pane on the left side, click "Default Apps." Locate the Web Browser section, click on your current default browser, and then scroll through the list and select "Google Chrome." Close Settings, and that's it. Chrome is now your default web browser.

Here’s how to do it: On your Windows 11 device, head into Settings. On the sidebar, find and click Apps. Find Default apps and click it. In the search bar, type in “Chrome” and click it when it comes up. A button will be at the top of that page that reads Set default. Click it.
