Open the page or post you want to replace the image on. Click the image you want to change then click the Replace button. You can then click Open Media Library and choose an existing image or Upload to add a new image to your WordPress Dashboard. Click the Update button to save any changes.

All you need to do is visit Media » Library in your WordPress admin area. If you are using the grid-view, then you would need to switch to the list view. Now locate the file that you want to replace. Once you found the file, take your mouse near the file name, and you will see a link labeled ‘Replace Media’.

Now, to replace one of the images, head over to the Media Library, open the image you’d like to replace. Alternatively, you can also access the Media Library directory from within the page or post by clicking the Add Media button. Once you have selected the image, click on the Replace Image button.
