Open www.Netflix.com in a web browser. Sign into the account where your Netflix profile currently lives. Scroll over the Account page located in the top-right corner. In the drop-down menu, select Transfer Profile. Select the profile you want to transfer. Select “Transfer.” Select “Start Profile Transfer.”

You’ll be notified by email as soon as Profile Transfer becomes available on your account. To transfer a profile, go to the “Transfer Profile” option when you hover over your profile icon in the dropdown menu on the homepage — then simply follow the instructions. You can always turn off Profile Transfer in your account settings at any time.

For everything else, open Settings > Account and select your profile. Several options will appear from the drop-down; scroll down to Transfer this profile and click Transfer. The next page outlines the process, so click Next. Your first step is to fill out the email address and password that will be linked to your new account, then click Next.

If you prefer a more direct method within the Netflix app itself, you can switch accounts using the Profile Menu feature. Follow these steps: Open the Netflix app on your device. Tap on the “More” or “Menu” button, usually represented by three horizontal lines, in the bottom-right or top-left corner of the screen, depending on your device.
