University of Georgia offensive lineman Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy were killed in an early morning car crash on Sunday in Athens, Georgia, just hours after the football team held its national championship parade, according to school officials.

Chandler LeCroy and Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Devin Willock passed away in a devastating car crash in the early hours of Sunday morning. LeCroy was the driver of the car and died after an ambulance took her to a local hospital.

According to police, LeCroy was driving 104 miles per hour when the SUV went off the road and plowed into a telephone police and an apartment complex. Willock was sitting in the rear driver-side seat behind LeCroy. According to the report, he was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. LeCroy was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to the investigation, a 2021 Ford Expedition was driving south in the outside lane when it left the roadway. The car then hit two power poles and several trees. Police confirmed the driver, Chandler LeCroy, and driver’s side passenger, Devin Willock, died in the crash.

Chandler LeCroy, 24, and offensive lineman Devin Willock, 20, were both killed when the SUV that LeCroy was driving crashed on Barnett Shoals Road on Jan. 15.
