In the Attachment Details window, find the “Uploaded to” section on the right-hand side. This section will display the page’s name or post where the image is used, along with a clickable link. The “Uploaded to” section is missing if the image was not uploaded through a post or page.

In the edit box, you can see the URL and “file name” of the image. Once you’ve these two, it’s easy from that point, copy either one. Now go to “Posts” or “Pages” section in WP Admin, and click the magnifier icon at the top right, search either the URL and “file name”. The search results shall yield Posts or Pages with the image files embedded.

Fortunately, I think there is a quick solution, using the list view rather than grid view in your WordPress media library. Go to wp-admin > Media, and press the ‘list’ button: List Button Example Image From there, you should be able to see a list of “uploaded to”, which shows you where this image lives on your website, like this:

To do this you need to get the link of the image through the admin menu. You will have something like: http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/image.png The post and page content are located in the table wp_posts (Replace "wp_" with your table prefix if not using the default).
