She also was an education pioneer, like her mother Elizabeth Cutter Morrow; she founded The Little School which became The Elisabeth Morrow School. Mrs. Morgan was the eldest child of Dwight Whitney and Elizabeth Cutter Morrow, and she was the sister of Anne Morrow Lindbergh.

Her mother, Elizabeth, was a poet and teacher, active in women's education, who served as acting president of her alma mater Smith College. Anne was the second of four children; her siblings were Elisabeth Reeve, Dwight, Jr., and Constance.

Mrs. Elizabeth Reeve Morgan, daughter of the late United States Senator Dwight Morrow, of New Jersey, and sister of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, died today of pneumonia and complications which followed an appendicitis operation.
