Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) have always been a competitive differentiator in adidas, particularly in our support and partnerships with diverse athletes and marginalized communities. Today, we embrace DEI to “Create An Equal Playing Field for all” within three key pillars – People, Culture and Accountability.

In 2022, we launched a new DEI strategy to ‘Create an Equal Playing Field for All,’ based on three key pillars: People, Culture, and Accountability. The strategy was informed by adidas’ first anonymous and voluntary diversity dimensions survey on four key dimensions of diversity (Gender, LGBTQ+, Race & Ethnicity, and Disability).

In 2020, the company redefined its framework for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to clarify what DEI means to adidas as a company: championing individual uniqueness and cultivating a culture of belonging so that everyone can create at their best.
