Fertilize your acai palm with cow manure dissolved in water. Fill a 1-gallon bucket with purchased cow manure and mix it with 5 gallons of water. Water your acai palm with this mixture four times each year at evenly spaced intervals. Use all of the 5 gallons of manure tea when you fertilize your palm.

Prepare soil prior to planting by adding organic composts such as manure and watering heavily. Will also benefit from fertilization with a balanced nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium mix beginning 4 to 6 weeks after planting and then every other month after.

Water them thoroughly, and continue to water them as often as necessary to keep their soil evenly damp but not waterlogged. Feed them a couple times a year. For a timed-release palm fertilizer, such as 8-4-8, apply about 1/2 tablespoon per square foot of planting area around the trunks.

Once the Acai Tree is planted, it needs regular care and maintenance to ensure healthy growth. This includes watering the tree regularly (at least once a week) and fertilizing twice a year with an organic fertilizer. Additionally, the tree should be pruned to encourage new growth and reduce disease.
