May 5, 2015 · I would recommend a Daiwa Lexa 300 if you're going for a heavier setup dedicated to Pike & Musky, with a 7'6" heavy-fast action rod. Of course it really depends on what kind of baits you plan to throw, as that will really determine what you need. I've also caught a lot of nice 30-40" pike on my bass rods while fishing in Michigan and Canada.

May 4, 2020 · The pike I have caught are usually tight against logs, or current breaks, I haven't seen one up here more than 30" they don't look like the pike you get up north. My buddy caught a couple one day south of prospect, I've never targeted them that far south, but they are there.

May 14, 2005 · Had some nice catches while White Bass fishing today. Along with catching many White Bass also caught a small Northern Pike and on my bottomfishing pole caught a Crucian Carp that upgraded my best for the species. My gf managed a huge Sheephead too- very fun!
